If you ask advice, be prepared to consider an answer. You clearly don't have something setup correctly, for example the Speaker Configuration choices described about the first thing in the manual....you must
use on the bi-amp speaker configurations or it won't work. Not a preset, but a configuration
you can spend time trying to use the correct one (front & center bi-amp, 7.1 bi-amp, 5.1 biamp) - it's all there in the manual and wiring diagrams, as I'm sure you noticed since you got as far as wiring it up...but if you still had it set to Normal Speaker config (9.1 FH/FW) then your bi-amp will fail and that's probably why you got no sound from various drivers when you played something. read the manual and the pages on manual speaker setup.
double-check your speaker configuration in the setup menu. you'll have to decide which bi-amp mode to use since you know whether you are using rears or not.
but if you still have problems, my advice if you are on a time crunch for tonight:forget the bi-amping
and just get a normal single cable solution to work using the default speaker configuration of Normal - and it will sound amazing for you and all who are watching tonight
passive bi-amping accomplishes very little
anyway. you can always futz around with it when you aren't under self-imposed pressure.
