Velodyne or Klipsch (need help)

I already opened a thread about Klipsch Sub-12 and Velodyne DPS-12 but didn't get any clear comparison between these two subs. I'll try again.
I bought these 2 subs and have them at home.
I live in apartment(buying a house soon) and CAN NOT test these in full capacity since my neighbors are whining.
Can please somebody help me to decide which sub is better or are they pretty much the same?
I have to return one of them in 2 days!
Thank you all .

Test them both anyway, you're moving soon anyway right? Your ears will be a better decider than others opinions.

I think you have the perfect opportunity to answer your own question. Talk to your neighbors and let them know that you need a little bit of time to test them properly. If they don't agree, do it anyway.

I can not comment on that model of Velodyne, but when I tried to audiiton the Klipsch-12 at the local BB what I heard was a one note sub that was distorted. Would not buy it.

Inform your neighbors (do not ask) that you will be testing the subs because you have this important decision to make and not much time to do it. Apologize for the noise, then go for it.

$20 says Velodyne.

Or better yet, test the sub with something entertaining, and invite them over! Serve some drinks! Show them what they're missing in their own HT.

I kept the Velodyne.
Klipsch was very loud and i could feel the "whoom" anywhere in my apartment ,in my opinion it sounded like without definition.
Velodyne is not as loud as Klipsch but has more definition to the sound i think and doesn't have that "whoom" sound (i don't know if this sound has to be present with any sub or not).
I hope i made right decision...

I believe you made a very good observation and decision. Velodyne in my opinion is a real smooth responsive sub. Besides subs is there bag baby. I have had 4 Velodyne subs over the years and they just work. I have yet to find anything that sounds and feels like a Velodyne for the money. I curently have a SPL10-II, its got to be 5 years old now and just rocks.
