Infinity Beta speakers worth selling?

Looking for some opinions...
I have some Infinity speakers that I am thinking about selling. I have a pair of beta 50s, C360, a pair of ES250s and the SW-12 sub; all in black. The question is, is it worth the trouble of selling them? I don't know if people would really want to pay for shipping given how heavy they are. Since they dont make these anymore, is there even any interest from people for the betas?

Try to sell them locally. Maybe craigslist.

put a post for them on the "infinity beta owner's thread" here on AVS. Some people are looking for these speakers.

The Betas are pretty well regarded... are you planning on replacing them? Just keep in mind, you may not get enough out of them to justify an upgrade.

You don't happen to live in the DFW area do you?

When they go new Beta 50s go for around 400, Used 200-300. So for both I would say you could expect about 500 dollars.

I love my Beta 20s, but an upgrade could never hurt. lol.

I've been pretty happy with them. I plan on replacing them eventually - with what I'm not sure yet. Was thinking of Totem Tribe or Definitive Tech Mythos?

Sorry, no. I'm in NYC. I would like to get rid of all of them at once if possible. I love the Beta 50s, but I don't have that much room and these things arent exactly small.

Are you just looking for smaller form factors? Both speakers you mention are going to be a step down in some ways b/c small form factor speakers are nearly always sonically compromised.

If you like the Beta 50s sonically speaking and need the space. I suggest you consider the Beta 10s or Beta 20s. I currently own a pair of Beta 20s with Sanus stands if you wanted to do a trade with some profit. We could try to work something out.:-)
Of course the shipping part will be a bit of a pain, but it's something you can explore.

I am satisfied with the 20s, but if I could get a pair of 50s. It might be good for my old testosterone

I did a time and cost of shipping estimate for two packages similar in size and weight to a beta 50. It looks like it would cost around 200 dollars to ship them both UPS ground to where I live including insurance of up to 300 for each speaker. FYI

PM if you want to try to work something out.
You can actually take the speakers to the UPS store and they will pack it for you and ship it.

Yes, pretty much. What others should I consider in that price range of those two?

You could also list them on individually on ebay. Beta's are very popular and you would have good exposure. A beta 40 sold for 190 this weekend. I'm sure a 50 would probably get closer to 300.
