Unless you have a large room I doubt you'll be disappointed in the PA-120.

But it will allow you to appreciate the money going into a sub upgrade that much more in the future.

Just because there's something better for more money doesn't mean it's pointless to buy something good for less money... I can't afford Ruth's Chris, I guess I shouldn't go to Applebees...?

Yes i agree with this. I haven't heard ANY of the subs listed and that includes the one I bought. No standard or bar has been set and I have nothing to compare to except for the system that I already own. I know this new system will sound better than the one I have and that is all I really care for.

rick240 and lilgator I appreciate all the help and if I do feel the sub is not powerful enough I will seriously consider getting a nicer sub down the road. Budget is tight at the moment so I can't really afford to deviate too much from it.

No buyer's remorse!

Thats really the only way you can look at it. As I am learning, you need to be happy with what you bought for at least a little while. You spent $230 on a sub. That was your budget and you got one of the most regarded subs that are under 3-400$. I seriously doubt you will be disappointing.

Money is not limitless and therefore you will never have the best there is. Some people spend 3k$ on a sub and some people spend 300$ others spend $400 and build one. Each says its an awesome deal for what they paid and it rocks. If you need more you will know.

THere are two things I love and 2 things I know I will never have. One is the Fastest car there is and the other is the best sounding audio system there is. I will have the best I can afford though.

Remarkably well said, and by likely the youngest person in this conversation.
