Go to your local stereo gear store or often computer stores, TigerDirect, will carry good cables for audio, you need a single cable, look for subwoofer cables. Don't worry about looking for shielded, RCA, preout or coaxial, just get a subwoofer cable, just a bunch of audio lingo. You don't need to spend much. Lots online as well. As someone said, avoid BestBuy or big box stores, 1000% markup! Walmart may even have some at a good price, never looked though.
It's called pre-out, that's just the way it is, sometimes labeled as sub out on the receiver.
