I love the Blob Launch from last week - hope they keep it around. Much better than John's uberlame TrampoMean...

And Jill as always was looking ultraadoreable.

Blob Launch is one of my favorites ever. No real "danger" involved, but some great moments anyway! (LOVED seeing the bee-yatch wife get turned upside down and landing on her head! )

I think it's that they were doing couples that made the Blob (I like the Airbag better... ) even more hilarious, but hay... BRING ON THE NORMAL CONTESTANTS TOO! Just make sure you put the Door Knock next to the blob damn it!!!!

That and hey Kuniz just send me the unedited portion of the Blob and Door Knock videos to me!!!!

My DVR listings show tonight's repeat as the episode with the door knocker, I missed that one early on because I didn't realize it was on Thursday night as well. Lucky me that's tonight's episode!
Guess that explains why epguide.com didn't list anything for tonight.

Definitely. Far better than John Henson's lame-o attempt at an obstacle.
I agree - the Smack Wall was absolutely brutal!
So! Smack Wall + Door Knock + The Blob = EPIC ****ING WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you listening Kuniz... ?

I was happy to see the return of the dizzy dummy.

Did he really say "hot dogs all the way around" for the all male finale? On ABC? This show is great!
This episodew suckled, liuley I''m derunk. goihng baclk to thw smak wa;l.
They are getting a little nuts on the course so we can have more wipeouts. Hardly anyone made it past anything tonight, at least according to what they showed.
^That's a good thing, although need more head shots via Smack wall and Door Knock!

Well, this one is not only turning out to be lame but... really? Tramp stamp on a male... ? :sigh: At least he didn't win.

That guy was great to watch. And it seemed like the door knocker had more force this time.

My wife and kid love this show. I am indifferent. My biggest issue (as I'm sure has been pointed out), is that in the initial challenge, they basically make everything next to impossible for the sake of the "wipeout" but in my opinion, it just makes it more boring. It doesn't really matter how athletic you are if they keep doing cheap stuff like "hammer behind every door" thing or on the final challenge that used to have that spring loaded wall that contestants would try to fake out....it never worked until they tried to jump over the gap, then some guy with his finger on the button would trigger it and nobody could ever get through it on the first attempt.

It does seem the second and final challenges are a bit more skill oriented though, which is nice.

That guy last night was the only exception I've seen for weeks that actually managed to get through a couple obstacles, but that happens once every...uhm....2 seasons?

I used to watch Ninja Warrior, and I liked it better because it rewarded skill and reflexes more...the contestants actually stood a chance at getting through the obstacles.

Regardless though, my wife and kid continue to laugh at it, and the commentary is funny. And of course there's Jill...

It's called Wipeout for a reason. We're watching to see people fall in the water, not succeed.
^Seriously, A Men.

I love when these guys come in thinking they are hot **** (especially if they are fat) and think they can win it all but half way down the start ramp they fall flat on their face.

Ninja Warrior is not the same either...

The best last night was the russian sickle that the commie momma made on the 2nd stunt. Wow did that look painful. My back hurt watching it.

But i watched it over and over and over

New episode of Jill tonight.
LOVED the spinning, trampoline "egg beaters!"
Yeah, I never would've thought that would be so friggin hilarious but it was. Alcohol helped on the rest.
Just curious, how many of you tune out the finale round, the more serious Wipeout Zone where the $50K is awarded?
I watch it
A first for WipeOut last night. One of the final four contestants didn't even get to run the WipeOut Zone final course. The first lady's time was so slow (20+ minutes), that the other two family contestants (who ran back to back) combined time was faster, thus they won the $50K prize and eliminated the need for the fourth run.

Poor guy, had to be looking forward to it (or maybe looking with dread) and then finds out he doesn't get to do it (or maybe to his total relief).

Same here, its REALLY stupid. John even commented that some of them, like that smacker thing that comes out CANNOT be avoided the first time. What the heck is the point then (besides seeing someone get hit by it)? It should be a realy obstacle course that is challenging, not impossible the first time.

I'm not so sure about that. If you look at last night (and other "couples" episodes) you don't see the other person at the finish line, cheering on their teammate UNTIL they've completed the course themselves. Last night, we saw the dad, looking wet and exhaused; as though he'd already run the Gauntlet, telling his daughter how to complete the course. Also, I thought the last couples episode was quite clear that there was a 20 minute time-limit, yet the daughter clocked in at just OVER 20 mins.

I think this was a bit of trickeration on the part of the production team (meaning; they purposely mixed up the contrestant order, like always...yet for a different reason) so that they could devote more time to other events/wipeouts. The drama was pretty much lost once "Attitude Girl" failed so miserably.

Its becoming a swimming contest. If you know you cant get by the first time take the hit and be ready to swim as fast as you can.
