grounding the winegard 7696p

Probably been covered before but I'm pressed for time to sit here and read thru all this info. My question is since this antenna will be mounted on an existing pole which is from the ground up by the house edge above the roof do I need to ground this or is it already grounded? Pretty uneducated when it comes to electricity. If I do need to ground what steps do I need to do?

you need (to do it according to code) put a grounding rod at the base of this existing pole. the coax needs to go through a grounding block before it enters the house, the grounding block needs to be connected to the antenna mast grounding rod. the antenna mast grounding ros needs to be connected to your house electrical system ground.
