Hi, My old DSP-A1 of 10yrs has now started to make the other electronic devices in the room, flicker or even reset themselves when i turn it on.. Not always but maybe one out of four attempts.. During the first click of the amp startup, if the TV is on, the screen goes, my light flicks off..
Works fine otherwise, apart from the led light on the vol dial, flickers a little, and maybe a couple of dots on the LCD front display...
I was wondering, what would be the best way to get this amp looked at? I've just ordered it's replacement from ebay for a RX-V2700, so instead of throwing it out, maybe worth while getting it fixed and keeping it as a spare...
Any idea's as to what's wrong with it and whether it would be cost effective to have it looked at? I live in the SW Florida area.
