There are the usual trade offs. If you had an ISCO III lens, I'd use it with a Super Lumis, and use the zoom memory for picture size adjustments when moving the lens out of the light path for 16:9.
I've heard some interesting things - I believe we will see some new developments in the nest 2 years.
Which Lumis do you have? The differences between the Super Lumis and my Lumis Host are substantial - 3D with 144hz triple flash , 12 bit processing, much brighter, zoom lens memory. If you have a Lumis 3D Solo, maybe not as much difference.
I have the original Lumis and Host. I understand that 3D would be a huge difference, but for me, I'm only interested in the 2D performance differences.
So if I were to upgrade to a super lumis (from my Lumis Host), the only thing I would notice is increased Lumens? How many Lumens difference?
Are they still using a host? I really love using the host and the optical connections between the host and the projector...
