I have a bunch of mkv files that I ran through mkv2vob, and now they are in a Mpeg 4 container (if I understand this correctly). I did this, to use them with my PS3. I was wondering if I could somehow stream those to a Xbox 360 as well, without having to transcode them on the fly? (my PC isn't powerful enough for that).

I stream these mpeg 4 files (I guess they are mpeg 2 now), to my PS3 using PS3 Media Server, and everything is fine and dandy, but it would be cool to stream them to my 360 as well, but I'm guessing I would have to convert them to WMV-HD, but I'm thinking that wouldn't be worth the drama. Just wondering if there was a way around it.
