Best Sub $90 Remote?

Hello guys.

I just recently purchased a new surround sound system for in my room, and now with the remote control count increasing to 5, i've decided to look into buying a remote to control everything.

Some points of interest are:

i have a Samsung LN32A330 TV, Xbox 360, PS3, DirecTV [SD] receiver, and a Haman Kardon AVR247.

I would love the remote to control all of the components, but i don't know what would be required for the PS3. [i'm assuming Bluetooth being that that's what they use for everything]

i'm not brand devoted, and will consider all reputable brands.

i will say i was previously looking into the Harmony 720 off of Ebay, but i wanted to get some recommendations from the pro's before i committed.

The 720 is nioce and you would probably be very happy with a Harmony but it's important to tell you that no universal remote will control the PS3 without "help." You'll also need either an IR to USB adapter ($10-$35) or an IR to Bluetooth converter ($79-$149) for PS3 control from yoiur universal remote

You may have to use the PS3 remote as well, but with an XBoX, I'd get this Harmony:

Especially because once you get Directv HD, you'll have the colored buttons.

i've broken it down to considering either the 880, or the 720.

i would like for someone to tell me the difference between the two, and which is the overall better remote. If anyone has any extra information i would greatly appreciate it.

Also, if someone could provide a link to a USB dongle for the PS3, i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I have a 550 and a 720 and feel that the 720 is the best remote I've ever had. Here is a good review of the 720:

I have the 880 and its great! The only problem is that now I'm trying to move my equipment into a closet using the Next Generation Remote Control Extender and I can't because it doesn't take regular batteries... so i no longer suggest it hehe

Here's a solution in your budget. URC-9910 RF remote ($40-$60) and JP1 cable ($15-$30). Been using it myself for several years. That model is no longer made and a little hard to find. I know of a couple for sale in the marketplace forum on hifi-remote.com/forums. If you learn how to use the JP1 software, you can control anything and program the remote any way you like. The interface is quite a step down from the 880, but one of the few RF solutions I know of within your budget.

since you're attempting to be doing that, would you be willing to sell it?
sorry if this is an inappropriate thing to ask, i just think it would benefit two people.

If you haven't already bought a remote, I'd recommend the Harmony 520. I got mine brand-new for about $40 on amazon.com, and it controls 12 devices. It works great for me!
