Listen up soldiers!

New conflicts are on the horizon for Call of Duty: World at War! We're pleased to introduce the contents of our first Downloadable Content (DLC) Map Pack for World at War, which includes three new Multiplayer levels, as well as an additional level for the ever-popular bonus Co-Op mode, Nazi Zombies!

3 Multiplayer maps: Nightfire, Station, Knee Deep
1 Nazi Zombie level: Verrückt (Zombie Asylum)

Click here for more details regarding these maps!

The team has been very quiet regarding details of our DLC until now, and we're so excited to let this content loose. DLC Map Pack #1 is due out in March of '09 for the Xbox 360™, Playstation®3, and PC platforms. More details are soon to come, so be sure to check out CallOfDuty.com for all the latest news and updates regarding CoD:WaW!

Nightfire:

Nightfire
In "Nightfire," players take to the streets of a war-ravaged Berlin with only the flames of the burning city to expose the enemy.

Station
"Station" offers a bombed out underground train station littered with hidden passageways and destroyed subway cars.

Knee Deep
"Knee Deep" takes place on the island of Peleliu in a once tranquil village turned chaotic Japanese command center.

Verrückt (Zombie Asylum)

The fan favorite 4-player co-op Nazi Zombies Bonus Mode returns with "Verrückt," a terrifying Zombie asylum featuring more weapons, perks via the addition of Perks-a-Cola machines, electroshock defenses and the endless zombie horde.

I'd rather they fixed the spawn points and freaking dogs that can kill you from 10 feet away... but new maps are always welcome. I just hope that I'm not too frustrated with the constant spawn kills by the time it comes out.

I'm just not that excited about new maps...

I don't see myself still playing this game regularily in March.

LOL!!! I doubt they are getting a stimulus check from the government. It will probably be $10 like the map pack for COD4.

No doubt I'm stoked about the new Zombie map, and now especially if they've added perks to that part of the game. The MP maps will be exciting but far less than the Zombie map. If only they had released 3 zombie maps and 1 MP map. I didn't follow the link yet, is this coming this week??

Nevermind it says March

Notice they said "first" downloadable content. Could that mean more maps a few months from now when these start to get stale?
meh, not interested. WAW is fine, it is what it is, but I don't see myself dumping more money into it for a couple more maps. Now COD:MW 2 THAT I'll pay money for!

no, THEY are Treyarch, and THEY don't have anything to do with what Infinity Ward said about COD4.

I can't wait waw may not be as good as cod4 but still fun none the less.
I'll get them just for the zombie map, hell for that matter I would pay full price for "Call of Duty 6 The Rise of the Zombies".

I don't understand the waw negativity. Damn game is solid online
post #19 of 19
Yes, it is.

I still thought MW was better, but WAW was a huge step up from Treyarch's others.

IMO, it was probably on the level of COD2 overall. To me, the best is still the original though.
