Haha I think this actually originally came with a matching leisure suit....the best part of this beauty is that the fabric actually feels like wool.....nice and warm in the winter (dont mind the itchy, scratchy part) If interested please make me an offer.

Ok on to some actual construction. Here is the new half wall or breakfast bar(not sure what to call it)framed out




As you can see the large opening in the lower left is where I am incorporating my AV rack. A different place but with this setup I will have access from both sides and the 2 feet it takes up under the half wall bar is dead space for screen viewing as that damn support beam

This is where I need some help from the AVS community. I am not at this point yet but I need some ideas or links of companies that I can get low watt led lighting for my AV rack. I would like blue and probably 12 inch strips. I hope to find something that I can get 3 or 4 strips and wire them together and then to a transformer of some kind that will just plug into a standard outlet. Anyone with any ideas??

Shhhh!! I may have forgot a small detail and didnt realize until it was way too late. We have been in this house for 3 1/2 years and no moisture whatsoever. The sill plates on the existing framing was dry and mold/moisture free when I opened the wall and the carpet has always been dry and clean. Crossing fingers though as I truly forgot until after the drywall was up and mudded and I wasnt turning back at that point........keep your fingers crossed for me

Checked their website and nothing but that doesnt mean they dont have them. And the only Costco near me is 1 1/2 hours away...not worth that trip

Have you ever in your build got to a point where you had 1000 things to do but didnt know where to start and couldnt find the motivation to determine a starting point??

There we go.....lets start acting like we've been here Still couldnt find the damn things on Costco.com Did look at the Croyon site and there isnt any sort of pricing I could find. Whats the price for these things at Costco Mr. Dennis???

I am too afraid to even create a to do list. I figure if I can think of 10 things off the top of my head then I dont need a list. The problem with this method is that I often do things in weird and out of synce order therefore I make things harder down the road. Besides if I made a list it would take me a week just to think and remember all the things I have to do
