Returning a tv to Costco will have $1500 credit.
Issues with current set/reason for returning:
-One - four times per week, the TV wont turn on. I hear it click, but it wont display a picture. I end up have to click the on/off button a few times to get it going.
-When switching from PS3 (HDMI) to DVR (HDMI) I get a static laden picture. I end having to unplug the HDMI cables to clear the problem, that one is quite annoying due to the location of my equipment.
What I want:
1080p
120 Hz
42"-46"
Quality product.
Looked at the Sony Bravia KDL46WL140 last night. Seemed nice and I'm assuming there would be less likelihood of a connectivity issue with the PS3.
They also had a Toshiba model that was 1080p with 120Hz, although I can't remember if it was a 42" or 46" and I forgot to write down the model number.
Can anyone recommend a set from there that meets the small "what I want" list from that store?
I don't need to spend the entire $1500 credit, and to be honest we need a new smaller tv for the bedroom (still rocking a 19crt from circa 1991 in there) and it would be a bonus if I could use part of the credit for that, but that is not priority number 1.
I'm sure anything I get will be an upgrade as I'm coming from a 42" 720p set.
I will be making the exchange tomorrow or Sunday.
Thanks!
Dave
