... hey, milaz001.. you sound suspiciously like another graduate churned out from the audiophile reviewer academy!
What I find fascinating in many of these sorts of "controversial" threads are the guys who join the forum, after having spent many years of their lives in the audio biz, and presumably, they've maintained a genuine interest in and love for audio all along. Yet, many of them react as if they're being exposed for the very first time to all this forceful argument about (to them) contrary, but in actuality the prevailing theory and evidence, much of which essentially discounts or nullifies at least half of what they've always taken for granted as perfectly valid and reasonable ideas about audio, etc.
How is this possible? You would think some
of this textbook audio-related science stuff would have rubbed off on them over the years, at least to the extent that they would be somewhat familiar with those "other" ideas and therefore, wouldn't be surprised when they get challenged on their views when they state a position they've determined to be more valid but is otherwise in stark conflict with the generally accepted scientific understandings of these topics; cables, wires, amps, etc.
But no, what we find here quite often are guys who wander onto avsforums and find themselves confused and irritated that anyone else serious about audio would think that, in this case, speaker wire & cables couldn't make a difference in at least some situations (that of the high enough quality equipment and/or 'proper synergistic relationship' kind, and not the pedestrian 'cable is broken and therefore malfunctioning' kind).
Many of them are much like nukequasar, who I am confident sees himself as merely offering basic, moderate, reasonable advice and is utterly perplexed by the strong resistance to his posts as if he feels as if he was being falsely accused of advising people to physically stroke their cables for 20 minutes each day in order to get the music juices flowing or some other equally ridiculous idea when all he thinks he's doing is offering sound, temperate advice.
Again, I ask. How is this possible that guys like this don't seem to have an any real inkling of just how far out on a theoretical and evidential limb they are?
And I'm really wondering why nobody attacked the posters that said interconnects make no difference Why did nobody demand data from them?!?
