Jay what did you go with? I also looked at the Yamaha Rx-v663 and Paradigm cinema 70ct speakers.. really only need a 5.1 set up
I went with 4 paradigm atom v6's, cc190 center, a hefty sonance sub, and an onkyo 606 reciever. I wanted the 606 because I needed additional hdmi inputs but I did consider the 663 as well. I listened to quite a few different speakers including some klipsch and polks but I really liked the way the paradigms sounded. Very detailed, rich full sound, very well balanced, they sounded great to my ears. Ultimately it was a little more expensive (by like 300 dollars) but I know it sounds way better than the alternative. So I can justify the 3 bills.
