Of course, another approach is to get a sub that will take 2channel preamp inputs/outputs and add the necessary HP/LP functions. These are still pretty common these days (Velodyne, SVS, etc...) but they do require relatively long interconnects depending on where you position the components and sub.
I did think of that Kal, too many subs to play that game though.... I have 2 SMS's though, but I'm crossing my subs at 100hz
I think I my just go overboard, and get an all in one unit instead like the D2v so I don't have to piece meal or cobble everything together, I am a simple person and I don't mind spending the money to make my life easier. Ive had enough drama in my life already.....
Heck my kid cost me 1/2 million in the first 90 days of his life.. whats a couple grand at this point...
