Anybody here use Cobalt or Accell interconnects, component, hdmi or s-video cables or have any knowledge of them? I'm trying to find a quality brand without spending a fortune. Thanks.

Nothing wrong with monoprice, blue jeans cable or tartan cable.

Accell is available at Fry's at very reasonable price. Same price range as AR, GE, RCA .... Cobalt on the otherhand are more expensive (3x the price) but still reasonable since they look really nice. If you want no-frills cable that will work, go with monoprice.

edit:....or you can do what I did. Went to Home Depot and spend $100 for 100' RG-6, RCA compression fittings and tools. Out of that, I was able to make 6 interconnects for my SACD player and 50' subwoofer cable. I have enough cable/fittings left to make 8 more RCA cables.

I have a pair of Cobalt ICs and a sub cable. I like 'em.

They cost more than some other ID brands, less than some too. I think they are an excellent choise for analog cables.

For HDMI or optical I would just get some from Monoprice. Don't get Monoprice's cheapest cables though.

To EnergyOwner: when you buy BJC, you may as well buy Monster, they don't seem to be much cheaper. And yes I know, Cobalt isn't cheap either, but they have one hell of a waranty. No tax and no shipping either.
