I have a Yamaha V-RX-465. I have the BD-370 set to "HDMI-Primary Pass-Thru" and the receiver happily switches between all the different formats on any DVD or Blu-Ray without a hitch. You can watch the display on the front of the Yamaha as it does this. Infact, I was unaware that this was an issue until you brought it up.
I paid under $350 for it at Best Buy. I'm very happy with this unit.
