Have you purchased an XM radio subscription for a friend? Well if you have, this is a warning about XM and its billing.

The Story:

2 years ago, my buddy returned from the Sandbox. He was spending his re-integration time redoing his kitchen. He owned a XM receiver for his truck so I figured he would enjoy the commercial free tunes during his drives. I re-activated his receiver as a gift and covered his first six months of subscription costs. After the six months was over, he took over the subscription and it came off my credit card.

6 months later, I receive a notice from XM that my credit card rejected the subscription charge. I had dropped/stopped that card and it was no longer valid. Therefore, I called and found out that they had lost my friends information and then reverted to my card. I corrected them and supposedly had my card removed from the account.

Fast-forward a year. Yep, sure enough XM has updated their information on the big computers in the sky. Lost my friends data again and sure a :crap: falls down hill, they billed my old card again. The old card rejected the billing (strange, it has not worked since 07; guess it is not going to work in 09..)

Spent 2 hours on the phone yesterday night trying to correct this problem. Dumb broads and supervisors couldn't get it through there heads that the reason why there is no billing history on the account in my name is that there is not any billing on that account in my name. Some broad/supervisor/dumb female dog type, even tried to tell me that even if a card expires they can still bill on it!

So check your billing on your credit cards, check your information on XM and honestly Sirius is much better,,,,

I will post this on every website I can just as an FYI.
