Just bought Yamaha Rx-397 Receiver, which speaker now?

Hi,

I just bought yamaha RX-397 Receiver. I could have bought home theater receivers but I am using this to listen to music in my bedroom so I bought this instead. I needed a cheap pair of spakers so I bought Sony SS- B1000 (120 Watts) bookshelf speaker which is kind of good for the price (only $42) but now I want to add one more pair of speaker but I just don't know what kind of speaker to buy. My receiver is 50X2 Watts, 8 ohms.

I would really appreciate it if you recommend me some speakers that will sound great with my Yamaha RX-397 Receiver and my Sony bookshelf speakers

One more thing, Can I use this with my laptop? Will I get the same sound quality if I plug my receiver with a laptop and 4 spearks?

So 2 speakers or 4 speakers dosn't matter? All I get is the same sound?? Won't it make any difference if I have 4 speakers?? I should have bought a better speaker then right, instead of having 4 speakers? I am a newbie only 17 yrs old, still learning
