Which one?...Polk PSW 650 or Klipsch KSW 12??

I have a choice between the two for a large room...

1) Polk PSW 650 = two 10" woofers, 250 watts, 25-180Hz

2) Klipsch KSW 12 = one 12" woofer, 105 watts RMS, 22-100Hz

Any opinions on which would work better??

What are the prices?

I would concur with blue...can get sooo much more for your money, go deeper, sound better with choices from Elemental Designs, HSU or SVS.

Oh, in that case.....the klipsch, and sell it, and use the money to buy something else Go with the klipsch, bigger driver, goes deeper, if that Freq response is within +/- 3db Would be interesting to see a graph of both.

If your relative wouldn't mind, get whichever you will be able to sell at a higher price. Check eBay, craigslist, and sell the thing.

Put the funds into a SVS, Hsu or eD subwoofer (You might have to add money but I think anyone here at AVS will say it's definitely worth it).

Thanks guys...I'd probably just add a second sub later to the room (20' W x 30' D) before selling off one for another.

I guess it looks like the single 12" Klipsch is the better option over the Polk dual 10s
