If you have the opportunity to see this movie goooo! This is a stunning movie. Maybe the best movie I have seen in years. The way it is done is so effective and unique.
From the animation to the music to the storytelling this is a amazing movie.
I dont really want to go into details about the movie because besides seeing the trailer I went in kind of blind and I think it added to the impact.
Take a chance with this movie.

Agree, great movie, it was my pic for 'Best Picture Foreign Film'.

Powerful.

Interesting technique in using interviews with soldiers 20 years later and cartoon based. Haunting music.

FYI: This movie was done complete with Flash animation, and it looks absolutely wonderful on Blu. I highly recommend it. But it's definitely not the kind of movie you're not going to want to revisit soon (think Grave of the Firerflies).

Good point on Grave of the Fireflies. I felt devastated afterward. Not something I'll watch soon.
