HCFR & Virtual Machines

Can anybody tell me if HCFR will run under Parallels in Mac OS X? Calman does according to their website but it's quite pricey.

If it does, can it read accurately using eyeone display2 connected to the USB of the mac

Thanks

Both CalMAN and HCFR work in Parallels for me.

However, Parallels (and VMware, I believe) seem to be polling the USB ports at a slower speed than running windows "natively" through boot camp.

As a result, some meters have issues. My i1Pro works 100% reliably. My DTP-94 works reliably in CalMAN, but sometimes has read errors in HCFR with low-light readings. My Chroma 5 doesn't work in Parallels at all.

Thanks AndrewFee. At least now I know it works under eyeone ;-)

Andrew one more thing. Have you tried any software for the MAC? Almost all runs in PC

thanks

I don't know if there even is anything for HT calibration on the Mac side. I bought CalMAN Pro, so I use that now anyway. (but I used HCFR previously)

I do use ColorEyes Display Pro for monitor profiling on my Mac, but it's not really suited to HT calibration.

There is a version of HCFR for the Mac, but right now it doesn't support the EyeOne series.... I downloaded it to see how it looks. Not bad. But hcfr still is tops in my book. I do have CalMAN 3.3 as well.
