The KRP-500M and KRP-600M are Pioneer's European version of the US Signature Series. However, the KRP-500M/600M does not carry the Elite badge, so only a 1 yr warranty and no ISFccc interface. Also the KRP series have two HDMI inputs, vs. the four that the Signature Series have.
Other differences are the KRP series have 9W stereo audio amplifiers and the US Signature Series do not have a audio amplifier.
KRP stands for Kuro Reference Panel and they were intended for professional and commercial US markets, but they did not sell well in that channel so Pioneer is now closing them out to authorized Pioneer a/v dealers.
