I got the 11v and used it for a short while with the 11a and did the following findings:
-11v does not work as expected with 2.35 setups. Changing aspect ratio between 16:9 and 2.35 does not work with current firmware. (This is also confirmed by another user that bought the 11v about the same time as me). But you can come around this if you can change aspect ratio on your source (Oppo players support this)
-If you have a screen with custom aspect ratio, e.g. 2.39 or 2.42 you must do the final adjustoments for zoom and crop etc in the projector. The 11v does not have built-in sufficient features for stuff like that.
-I connected sources directly to the 11v, but found that there is a bug with audio out. Sometimes audio is missing and you have to change input on the 11v back and forth to get the audio back (similar to what is reported with the 11a). Did not happen very often though.
-The picture adjustments and settings are not very advanced, you can´t tweak gamma settings in many different ways or have different settings for different inputs etc.
-I found that the scaling (11v uses faroudja) was not working as smooth or as well as compared to a Crystalio II processor (using vxp).
-The fan noise in the 11v also was a little too much for my taste.
I think the 11v can work fine in a setup with a large TV, it definately improves the picture quality, but for a setup with projector and screen I will not recommend it. In my setup it did not have enough features to support my needs so I have returned it to the dealer (have a Theta CBIII on order). Also, I find the 11v to be overpriced.
