Just ordered a Marantz SR5003, anything i should know?

Hey all, this is my first real HT gear purchase. I picked up a pair of Klipsch RF-62 for l/r, and an rc-62 center. 2x Energy C-100 as rear l/r (temp solution till i can afford rs-52's) and an eD A2-300 sub.

Just wondering if there's anything i should know before diving into it, or tips/tricks just things you pick up with experience ya know ;-).

I will be wiring it all with 12AWG cable with banana plugs, and all components will be connected via HDMI (PS3, XBOX360, HTPC w/ LPCM8.1).

Yes, read every page of the thread dedicated for that receiver. More info that will help you than you can get from anywhere else.

I looked at the SR 5003 but in the end it was a bit out of my price range and I just bought a Denon 789 instead. From what I know though of the 5003, it's an excellent receiver.
