"Castle" on ABC HD - Page 37

Count me in the camp that has enjoyed the developments following Castle and Beckett hooking up. I thought the latest episode was funny and fast moving. Nathan Fillion has always been a wonderful comic actor but Stana Katic has been showing solid comedic skills of her own. I look forward to the rest of the season.

My little birdie has informed me that the out-of-sequence airing of the episode is to continue. Now the list is:

501
503
502
505

If this pattern keeps up, the next one in the list will be 504.

Oh, was also told that 505 is a great episode. The birdie's opinion, of course. Would not tell me why. Crap. Now I have to wait for it.

Why would they air out of sequence episodes? They just never flow right!

Damn good question. With Body of Proof, there was certainly an issue with continuity. But, with Castle the jury is still out.

Finally saw the last episode. @#?$ING HILARIOUS good fun! Love it, they are making it work sooo well.

As for the out of sequence its odd but still nathon and Stana make up for it in entertainment.

Maybe it is my audio settings, but is anyone else having difficulty hearing the dialogue of the recent "Castle" episodes?

We get lots of bass obscuring the words.

Listening with the same settings to other shows and not having the same problems.

Anyone else?

For three or more years I've had the low dialog (center channel) problem on certain ABC dramas airing in the 10:00 to 11:00 P.M. block. I conclude my Sacramento ABC station is fiddling with the audio feed in anticipation of their 11:00 P.M. news. If their Dolby equipment was at fault then all their Dolby 5.1 shows would exhibit the low dialog problem.

I get that very seldom usually a off- wayoff channel , I switch my Onk to all channel stereo & it goes away
Normally I use Neo-X to decode 5.1 to 9.2

Finally watched the last Castle episode. I had no audio at all for the first 10 minutes. This was from bay area Dish on my 622DVR. Anyone else have this problem?

Gonna call it now, Best season evar!

Excellent episode last night, best of the season in my humble opinion. And now the secret is out (sort of). If too many people find out, Castle & Beckett may have to become the next Mr. & Mrs. North or Nick & Nora Charles (look it up, youngsters). smile.gif

I'm no youngster and I don't even get your reference.

Ok, what I was referring to if Castle & Beckett get outed and she loses her job with the police, perhaps they could become a private detective team. Mr. & Mrs. North and Nick & Nora Charles were "old time" private eyes on radio and the movies back in the 30's, 40's, and early 50's. Nick & Nora Charles were based on the "Thin Man" series of movies which air regularly on TNT. Mr. & Mrs. North came later and the radio series was based on an early 1940's Mr. & Mrs. North movie. And, by the way, I'm not THAT old, I just love old movies.

And, my original comment was meant to be tongue in cheek because I doubt if the series producers would let it stray away from the "cop" show that it is. We already had "Moonlighting."
Those movie and radio dates were before my time, or before I was able to comprehend that stuff.

I've heard of the series, but know nothing of it. Oh well.

Episode 3, according to Tivo's numbering. Mom saw Beckett in the first scene of the season, didn't let on until later. Didja miss that one? Involves a storage unit.

Yup, all they need is an Asta

The thing is that Castle is not on the payroll, nor is he a cop. That makes it extremely hard to enforce the no jumping the bones of a fellow officer.

Plus, with his in with the mayor, it would be even harder to enforce (pun intended) biggrin.gif

I must have missed something. When they were trying to figure who Beckett's new boyfriend was, they went through the list of her former boyfriends. It seemed like several were other cops. So what's the big deal?

Great episode. Several excellent moments centered around their relationship. One of my favorites was when Castle was going through possible combinations of their names and ended up with CASKETT. I've seen that one many times before on line being used by shippers and it always seemed so lame until he said. And then it was hilarious.

They wouldn't kick her off the force, they'd just prevent them from going out in the field together.

Don't forget about the mayor, who kept Castle there after the new boss detective tried to get rid of him.
