I've had a weird problem with my Samsung ln-t4661f since I bought it over a year ago. Sometimes the channels just switch for no reason. I only watch over the air TV with an antenna, no cable or satellite.
For example, PBS channels are 8-1, 8-2, and 8-3. Every once in a while I'll tune to one of those channels and the TV flickers and all of a sudden PBS is channel 29-3, 29-4, and 29-5. The 8 channels will disappear from my TV, I can't even tune to them. After a few days or weeks of this, they will switch back to the right channels (8-1, 8-2, and 8-3.) This has happened with other channels too, over and over again.
Things are usually normal for a while, then this happens again. Also ABC, which is channels 15-1 and 15-2, has disappeared many months ago and has never come back, it didn't switch to another number, the network is just gone because my TV will no longer tune to 15-1 or 15-2. It's like they don't exist.
Is there any way to fix this? Do I need a firmware upgrade?
