Something of note
Standard is the recommended mode for "Normal Viewing"
Game mode according to panasonic uses several methods to prevent IR.
In Game mode, quicker image response increases the enjoyment of video games when a game console is connected to the TV. What's more VIERA produces the dark images in video games more clearly. This mode works anti-image retention (wobbling) too.
So game mode has faster response time and Wobbling and Orbiter to prevent IR.
Key to this is the Input needs to be labeled as Game for the mode to engage. Then The Picture settings will Automatically set itself to game. (which you then can change out of game picture settings)
Now I just set my regular FiosTV Input to Game for TV viewing to see if this deactivates any processing. (Picture settings to standard)
Another note is that if you were to name all your inputs Game you can then Use the button on the remote named game to cycle the inputs named game. (strange I know)
Also of note 600 sub field drive is only in Cinema mode
Edit-Ok still analyzing. So far results interesting.
