i have the 42xv545u and i cannot notice any lag at all this is with 120hz turned on and motion set to smooth this tv is an awesome tv and game mode makes it more responsive but due to 120hz being of in game mode i do not use it but trust me im a heavy gamer this tv rocks for gamers!!!

many 60hz tv has negligible lag. it's 120hz where lag become noticeable. 27 120hz gaming monitors are the best thing, esp with nvidia lightboost hack better than CRT

dude some say nvidia lightboost hack on compatible monitor is BETTER than CRT in terms of motion blur...this is the future man 120hz + lightboost is equiv to 700MHZ refresh rate. that is insane

go to blurbusters blog if u wanna learn more

nvidia lightboost 2d hack is 7 times better than 120hz! seriously guys this is a revolution plz help spread the word so companies mass produce this tech.

player002 if 120hz on that tv isn't giving u lag then why do u complain about it being disabled in game mode? i'd rather play with 120hz and non-game mode if theres no detectable lag


btw i tried the smooth motion 120hz on a samsung 6000 series and it seemed like there was no input lag, atleast for single player mario bros on wii. demo'ed at the store


still, once you try lightboost, they say you cant go back to just 120hz
