I know theres a ton of threads on gaming a and plasmas, but I need to know about something new. I game alot on my 360. I'm looking to get a V series Panny 58" when avail. I have a 4 yr old Panny and pause, watch black bars for hours with no burn in, but no gaming on that TV. I will be replacing a 51" Sony RPTV. Will these new V series be a great TV for gaming? (and movies)

Any one with a 800U game all the time? I guess IR has came a long way since I bought my last plasma.

Opinions?
Thanks!

You have nothing to worry about.

No more than you should worry about QVC, CNN, or bars at the top or bottom of the pix on non 16:9 images. If you vary your viewing and lower the contrast you should not have problems with differertial aging.

Thanks. My cureent 4 yr old Panasonic Plasma gets tons of black bars and such much of the day and it hasn't had 1 problem. (Knock On Wood)

So I guess gaming isn't any different.

Thanks
