Pioneer Pro-111FD/ Oppo 981hd or av49

I recently got the Pro-111FD for a unbeatable price at Magnolias. So far, I am really excited with the performance on this TV. At the moment, I am a bit confused on what DVD player to get. I currently have a Pionner av49. The upscaling I heard that my TV can do. I ordered a Oppo 81HD due to their superior upscaling budget price. My library consists of nothing but flat 480p dvd's....so at the moment blue ray is not important. I bought a Pioneer blue ray BD 51 but it kept acting up on me. I returned it since I really dont need it. What would be the best player for my situation. I just need the best upscaling 1080p picture. Can my TV do this better than the player itself? It thats true, then i can get any regular 480p player right? Errr maybe I should get back that pioneer BD 51 blue ray that was $280
