I own a Sony TRV-340 that has a "mic in" red 3.5mm connector.
What kind of microphone can I use? Can I connect any kind of microphone? I'd like to connect a cordless "lavalier type" microphone, or maybe a corded one with a long cord, so I can record outdoor interviews. Could I use a "normal" microphone (like the SM-57 or such) with a long cord for interviews?
Any suggestions? Never used an external microphone before!
