Hey everyone, okay so here is my current setup. I have no choice but to set it up in my living room. Now, my dilema is the only setup possible in the living room which maximizes space and comfort.
So now I have to place the Tv in front of the main window which looks out to the front of the house. Now please try to picture this in your head, i'll try to get a pic or two when i get home. The good thing is the window was nice set of blinds on there to cover up any light and on top of that the sun rarey hits that part of the window because of the structure outside.
Anyways, my problem is there is a vent in the center near the window where the TV SHOULD GO. So that it is centered to the viewers. However, right now my stand will just cover the vent and not allow the vent to circulate air, so i am forced to put the tv to a corner...so its like offset to side in the corner. I hate this lol. When i get good home audio system i want to be able to place the front two speakers to the left and right of tv, you know the way it should be and i want the tv centered.
So my question is, would a different stand that has some space between the bottom of the stand and the floor, so that the vent can actually circulate air properly...work? Would that be the ultimate problem solver? I am working with limited space from the vent to the windows. If i push the tv back more, the blinds will get caught. If i push it in front of the vent, then the room will look too small and ugly.
I just want to make it nice looking with a home theatre in place. Let me know your ideas, and i will try to post some pics tonight. Thanks.
Shan
