Hello All,
I've used Pinnacle Studio 11 to capture video from my Sony D8 camera and process it on a PC. While Studio was easy to use, I was not happy mostly with the fact that it would stop capturing at random or won't go by gaps in recordings on a tape.
I would like to consider alternative ways of transferring video to PC and I wonder whether there are any differences in the quality of transfer? Not dropped frames, but actual difference in picture quality? Or since it is digital source, not analog video - the software doing capture doesn't make difference in this case?
If software does make difference - what are the better ones in regard of captured video quality?
Thank you,
hf
