Any Deals for August Rush ?

This title looks like it doesn't have a huge amount of inventory as the prices are still high.. Hoping for a good deal.

I just bought an LG Blu-ray/HD-DVD combo drive for my future HTPC just because of all the cheap HD-DVD movies. I picked up We Were Soldiers, Million Dollar Baby, and Friday Night Lights for super cheap; I did buy a couple Blu-ray movies as well, but darn they're expensive, even on sale. I can probably replace most of my entire library with HD-DVDs for a quarter of the cost of the original DVDs. Long live HD-DVD!

If you can replace most of your collection with the available HD DVD titles, you must have a very limited taste in movies.

That's a relative term. Compared to HD and SD...yes. But not compared to a year or two ago (BD titles were regularly $15 and $20 back then). I have about 200 BD discs now, averaging about $10.00 a pop. In my book, that's quite reasonable.

The key is to wait for a sale...and jump. You will be relinquished to primarily catalog titles...but w/ a library of 500 DVD's, 500 HD's and 200 BD's...what's the rush? Don't get spoiled by these $2, $3 and $4 HD titles, because they're about to be a thing of the past (other than used).
