Used to bring it in this game! Charge up and KAPOW! Lay fools out. It was like tecmo bowl, guy up the left sideline, throw the bomb, stiff arm and gone.

Best football game ever. Just read the reviews

Great memories. Alright Thanks

Good but doesn't beat the original in my opinion.

Yeah I just listed it because it brought back some good memories. I loved 97 too. I miss those old PS1 days.

Sorry but Gameday 97 doesn't have William "Bar None" Floyd on the cover.

Quote:

``I really think I was the best fullback in the NFL when I was in college,'' Floyd said this week.

And now?

``I want everybody to be compared to me,'' said Floyd, 22, one of the main attractions during the second day of mob interviews leading up to the Super Bowl matchup with San Diego on Sunday. ``I don't want anybody to say I wasn't the best fullback ever.''

Heh see how that turned out now, eh? I'd say Moose handily outplayed and outlasted him over the longhaul. The only thing Floyd was good at was running his mouth.

Anyway I just remember the awesome touchdown music that played after you scored. That and the cool stadium flyovers. I think I might bust out some pre-3d Gameday tonight. Too bad there's no online.

hate to say it, but Gameday 98' was much better!

It was the first 3d polygonal football game ever. Like always, madden hadn't even stepped up to the plate yet. Loved playing my patriots with Bledsoe. he was good at the deep bombs.

Good god I loved that game. Many an overtime thriller on any given college night spent whooping on that game.

I remember playing Gameday and breaking for a touchdown, then standing on the 1 yard line stiff arming all the players running after me. That was great.

go back and play gameday 98 now... you won't like it. I think you can still play the original and enjoy it.

nope, I felt '98 was a step back. It didn't seem fluid to me, seemed fake. I liked 97 the most. and beer I liked that too
