Need Custom MAME Cab Builder in NC

I'm looking for a custom MAME cabinet builder in NC. I want to be able to pick it up in person so anyone in the NC, SC or possibly Virginia areas would be in my driving range. Is anyone aware of an accomplished and reasonably priced builder of Custom Cabinets in these areas?

What are you looking for in a custom cabinet in terms of features? I own several upright arcade games (mostly fighters), and have been toying with the MAME idea. I'm thinking I may convert a Mario Bros cabinet. Seems like it would cut down a great deal of the costs. I know that those custom cabinets are pricey!

Have you considered converting an existing cabinet? I know you could find one pretty cheap on craigslist.
