Any recommendations on a reasonably priced video card that will output 1080p video (and sound) over a HDMI output???

Radeon 2400 series is probably your cheapest option.

don't know what agp or pci-x is. Just want a pre-built regular PC (through NewEgg, etc.) that comes with a video card that supports what I stated. Hopefully I can find one around $400 - $600.

And by audio support, do you mean one that can pass through the spdif of your motherboard integrated audio onto the HDMI cable, or do you mean one that has full 7.1 PCM support? There is a big difference.

ATIHD4450/ HD4670 and all in between would do. I wouldn't get anything less than ATI HD44**

I'd recommend against getting a pc packaged together. its kind of like htib, it's bad for the value.

that being said, if you still want, get one. you can start off w tHis 220 one and upgrade the video card yourself.

possibly-- but get another case and Sata BluRay.. noticed picture still has IDE ribbon cable. Still think, like other have mentioned you better off getting parts not assemblies.

Not to nitpick, but I will anyway. PCI-X is a slot designed mainly for servers, it is a higher-bandwidth version of PCI.
PCI-Express is the fairly new consumer slot, known as PCI-E.
