I blame this thread for persuading me to buy the LG LH30 instead of a Samsung... and I couldn't be happier
Thanks to everyone (especially KVW) for their input thus far on this great TV!
I am having a small issue though. I have my PC connected to the TV through HDMI1/DVI plus the Audio-In port. I get picture just fine, but I am not getting any sound.
The motherboard's on-board sound (I'm not using a sound card) is working fine. I can plug a pair of headphones into the motherboard and get sound, or plug in a line-out to a pair of cheap speakers and get sound, but when I line-out to the Audio-In port of the TV, I get nothing.
That is, I get nothing as long as i have the HDMI1/DVI input plugged in. If I remove the cable, then sound pipes through the TV speakers, but of course, I get no picture since the HDMI cable is disconnected.
I have the HDMI1 label set to PC. In fact, when I toggle the label from something else back to PC, the sound comes on for just an instant, then cuts off.
Anyone know what's causing this? Is this some kind of digital rights protection bs? Or am I just missing some kind of setting?
