Ok,
So I have just bought and set up my new PJ pioneer/jvc rs2 and I am running a 35 foot 24 gauge hdmi cable to it. Up until yesterday I had no switcher and just switched manually, but than I bought one of those matrix 4 in 2 out switches.( I have another tv in the back which I run off the same sources). Seems to work pretty well EXCEPT will not reliably pass the 1080p from my ps3. I have 3 sources...cable box, xbox360 and ps3. Here comes the question.
Do I
1. Return it and run another hdmi and component thus using the PJ as the switcher outlay of $40 for the hdmi as I already have the component. Plug in the other tv manually when I use it.
2.Run another hdmi solely for the ps3 and keep the matrix switcher for the other two sources and the alternate tv.
3. Jump on the DVDO Edge power buy. Get the upscale improvement but loose the extra out put for the video and than go back to manually plugging in the hdmi to my other tv.
