Thanks, Chad. I had almost forgotten I had this thread. Been busy lately. First I was in serious training for my new professional Ninja gig.

Then, following my early and unplanned retirement from Ninja-ness, I opted to relax for a while.

Fortunately that relaxing hasn't precluded me from dive-bombing other people's threads here.

S'up with you riff-raff?

I think you might have been divebombing Craigslist as well.

Doesn't this look like a Hanesian post? http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...464768577.html

Laugh all you want, but a guy just might have a good reason for wanting to buy meteor insurance.

Hey Hanes!

Well my electrical final was completed 2 weeks ago, and I special ordered 5 new solid core, 4- panel doors for the basement, finishing up all the tile in the family room, bedroom, and bathroom, and finishing up with the fireplace stone this week, been busy, been out of town over the 4th, I did not realize it took 4-6 weeks for special ordering, solid core, 4 panel doors, Doe....

So since we get no updates on progress from Hanes and HIS build we have resulted to posting updates (see above) of our own build on Hanes thread??!! Interesting concept I must say........

I don't know what you're talkin' about. A guy doesn't get a chance to whitewash a fence everyday.

Besides, I was really busy with my first professional fireworks gig this weekend.

Maybe I should leave that to Chad from now on.
Hey we might as well take over his thread and post our progress as we know %$#@ well we won't see any progress from him!

Hanes has set a new bar for theater "progress" me thinks. Hmmmmmm.........points to ponder.

Looks like from the video you had an exciting 4th anyway.

My neighbors buy the big mortars every year and launch for about 45mins to an hour on the 4th. This year they had about four shells that launched any where from about 2 feet to 6 feet out of the mortar and then did there thing. THAT was exciting and luckily no one got hurt, but it sure was funny seeing them run like the dickens to get away.

Good times.

I had a troll in my own thread from doing my own kind of all-in-one family room, theater room, and I could not stand his grand-standing in my thread, where he was so full of him-self, I had to pick a different home, so here I am!!!! Doe!
Sorry if I shouldn't post any updates here....
No feel free as RT and myself said its not like Hanes is updating us anymore.
You know, with all the posting Hanes has been doing in other peoples threads, I was kinda worried that he just plum forgot which thread was his. It's good to see the senility hasn't set in just yet and he can find his way home once in a while.

Any kind of HT build progress is a welcome diversion here, Chad. And with any luck there will be no 'sniper' postings here to frustrate, as it gets expensive to replace laptops so often.

And those who think that not posting any progress shots in, um ... a loooong time means I'm not doing anything obviously have never tried Zen crossword puzzles before. I am very busy being one with the crossword ...

so...Hanes...umm...any progress?

I take that these were not the guys who got killed!?

There was a guy here in MN who got killed when his commercial fireworks didn't go off as planned........ Police are still trying to figure out where he got them.

Hey Killer, since I am a local pyro guy, do you know where that guy was killed? Me being a pyro guy, any class B fireworks ( typically professional display product only ) have serial numbers on the product, for 100 percent trace ability, and new laws have gone effect, that any shells that are larger than 5 or 6" diameter are classified as type A explosive, similar to dynamite...

One of these days I may just shock you all by posting photos representing some of the 90-odd minutes of work I have invested in the basement over the past 6 months. Then you'll be amazed!

Not sure about the MN guy, but there was this guy in Fargo:

Eyewitness: Fireworks accident decapitates Fargo man
http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/208805

That's gotta sting just a bit.
Did you happen to notice paragraph 3?

"Chris Hanson, Burley’s neighbor who saw the accident, was packing up his car to leave north Fargo’s Riviera Heights mobile home park as tornado sirens sounded just before 9:30 p.m."

Is that ^^ THE "Chris Hanson"?? From to catch a predator??

This guy........

If it was THE Chris Hanson, hanging out in a trailer park in Fargo has got to be like shooting fish in a barrel.

That must be it, guess I heard it wrong or thought Fargo was in MN

Yup, looks really good Chad. Kudos. I'm no plumber, but isn't that stack for the toilet a little high?
