I just had an authorized Samsung technican come to my house and replace my Logic board and adjusted my voltage. When I was talking to him he stated that my Error Diffusion problem could be related to having some real light IR on my set.
I wonder what others opinions are on this topic because I do not understand how IR on the bottom right of my screen is causing Error Diffusion in the middle of my screen from left to right. I ran the scrolling pattern on my FPT-5084 for 6 hours and I do not see any IR on my screen using the White Test in the set up menu.
When he came out to fix my problem he was using a color test pattern and noticed thr IR on a blue screen. You had to look real close to see it tho. He also said that he thought Samsung would not replace my panel if it had IR on it even tho Error Diffsion is the problem. He was very helpful and said that if he came back and didnt see any IR that the panel would get replaced or I could get a new TV.
Sorry for the rant but I do not understand how the 2 problems go hand in hand.Would like to hear some opinions about this problem I'm having.
