The first 2 May Payne games will be released on Xbox Live this year, probably together with the Max Payne 3 launch.

The first 2 Max Payne games are coming to Xbox Live

I loved the first May Payne game & hopefully this release will feature upgraded graphics.

Damn, I just bought MP1 off eBay not even a month ago (I'd already played it on the PC, but had a copy of MP2 for the XBox laying around and it made me want to replay the better first game). Oh well, it was only a few dollars anyway, so I won't have to buy off XBLM... unless they somehow make MP1 widescreen in the Live version, or even better, add in the keep shooting while you're lying down feature.

I'd bet they come in as xbox originals since they were on the original xbox. Without graphic enhancements.

can't wait, such a sweet series.

Yeah, that's what I'd figure too, but here's hoping.

That is what I would put my money on.

Gamestop has MP2 for like $4. No way will I pay $15 for these on Live...with no resell rights.

I thought it was widely accepted that the first game was far superior to the second.

If that's true you are better of buying the orginal game, so you have at least a disc. If your HDD would crash you don't loose the game.

I liked the second game better. It was much more streamlined and polished than the first game. The first game was more revolutionary, of course.

I think I also enjoyed the second game more.
As for if your HDD crashes you can redownload it for free once you get a new HDD.

Also by buying it on live your supporting the developers/publishers/microsoft and showing theres demand for it. When you buy it used your not.

They were OK on Xbox, but stunning on PC. And I agree the first was the best.

I bought Splinter Cell on XBO... then saw it for $3.99 at GS. Never again! Unless its something unique and rare... don't know what is on Xbox 1 though.

Are these games $10 each on XBO? If so, that's ridiculous. You can buy both on eBay in excellent/mint for that price.

Yes but the developer doesn't get any money when you buy it on ebay,
they do when you buy it on Live

Yeah I bought it too from XBO. I have the disk I just prefer it on my hard drive. I bought it before the whole install the game on your hard drive thing came out. Though it is still better cuz I don't need to put the disk in the drive to play it.
