Curious what you would recommend for a bedroom setup and some pros and cons of each. I am not audio savvy at all, so I dont know what to look for
My setup is a 42" LG Plasma (42PC5D) TV with a Cable Box/DVR, PS3 and PC all hooked in. I'd like to be able to have them all use the speakers (plus iPod if possible).
I mentioned in another thread, but Ill say again - my room is odd shaped. It's long and narrow. About 22ft long by about 11ft (usable). Its a little wider, but the ceiling forms a point at 12ft high and angles down the entire way (no flat walls down long side). TV is in one corner facing right at bed. This half of the room (about 11x11) is the bedroom part, the other half (open but divided by a staircase) is more for studying and a closet. I watch tv mainly from the bed, which is about 5ft from the tv (foot of bed)
I assume the real surround is better, but I always hated audio wires. The Onkyo refurb is around $160 (+ ship?) and the Yamaha bar is $200 shipped.
