I think the show is great, many LOL moments, and as a bonus Amy and Rashida look fine in 1080i Even funnier after the closure of the pit IMO.

I never really clicked with this show, but this past episode has lured me back in--Ron was funny as hell here.

It's like taking peyote and sneezing slowly for six hours...

That woman *really* knows her way around a penis.

You read that and think it's funny, but the way he delivered it had me gasping for air. It was that funny!

Punk ass book jockeys!

wow, no comments on last night.

i thought it was funny as hell from the politically incorrect mural to ron's
shoe shine.

probably their best show ever.

Yeah, last night's episode was quite funny.

I'm surprised more people aren't watching- that's too bad. It's really good this season, much better than it was last year. Aziz Anari and Chris Pratt are turning out to be the saving graces of the show. Chris Pratt had such a small part last year as the boyfriend and now he's hillarious.

I usually don't watch it until the weekend, but yeah I'm disappointed that this show doesn't seem to get buzz here that others do. And I personally don't see it as one or two characters that are driving this show, the whole ensemble is good. But, one again this week Ron was the center of my "laugh so hard I had to rewind" moment with the moan during the shoe shine.

I'm disappointed that so many have rushed to judgment on this show because, quite frankly, their initial assessments couldn't have been more wrong.

the writing and character development has really improved this season. this
show right now if probably the funniest of all the sitcoms I watch. it has been much better than 30 rock and much, much funnier than the office.

so many watch these other 2. surprising they don't tune in a half hour early to enjoy this show.

Not only that, it seems folks are tuning in "Community" and then turning away. Hey, I like that show too, but I will say this weeks "Community" was kinda "meh" for me, not horrible, but not really that great. The quality has been there for the most part, but IMO P&R's hunting ep was much funnier.

I thought a couple 'skits' were OK this week. I enjoyed the episode.

i loved last thursday show.

ron kept screaming about getting shot in the head.

hilarious.

hardest i have laughed at an episode yet. even funnier than the politically inappropriate mural showing indian being run over by a train, chinese coolies laughing at the indians , and a group of irishmen getting drunk.

kudos to the writiers.

just wish more people would give this show a chance.

The last scene had me rolling on the floor, Ron's thick hair with just the back shaven and dotted with holes I sure hope they keep it going.

This show is hit or miss. Some have been hysterical, this past week was good. The one about the sister city in South America was terrible.

Parks And Recreation right now is the funniest show on television for me. No show has me laughing out loud as hard as this show. The cast has really come into its own.
it is also the most overlooked comedy going right now judging by the lack of posts on this thread.

people don't know what they're missing.

i know i'm the only avs member that really watches this show, but another
great episode last night.

this show is so much funnier than the office this season.

i don't get how people will watch community and the office and
skip this great comedy in the middle between these 2.

Wally, have you ever used the Shift key on your computer keyboard?
I'd rather have that than the people who leave CAPS LOCK on all the time It's like they're constantly shouting.
I agree, another good Parks, great cast all around!

We almost gave up on this show last year, but being the tv addicts we are it takes a lot to delete anything. Glad we stuck with it, this year has been great. Numerous laugh out loud moments everyweek.

I like the subtle 'background' humor in it. Like last night with Ron during the talent show off to the side barely moving, the racoons in the dumpster in the background during Ron's entire speech at the park, and Tom's face during the newscast outing Lesley's alleged affair.

OK episode last night. It's almost like Amy Poehler is quickly becoming a bit player in the show. She doesn't seem quite as funny as the backup cast.

You knew April was going to end up working for Ron.

NBC renews "Parks and Recreation" for a third season: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...3#post18032273.

Excellent news for a show that really deserves better ratings.

Recretion sounds gross.

My wife and my tv time is limited, so after a few episodes of The Office and Parks this season, we dumped The Office and stuck with Parks. Been a great choice.

Actually I just figured I'd record The Office when in reruns in the summer. It will be nice to actually have something new (to us) in the summer

My wife and I figured we'd end up catching this season of the Office once it hits Netflix on demand. Your idea is great too.
