They are on at different times so it is not that complicated to watch one or the other or record one or the other or record both or watch both. Then again why do you even bother with the Office since you say it stinks like many other shows you say do but still always watch!

For me it's not matter of both my tuners being occupied at the time but rather too many things I want during the winter and having my Tivo HDD fill up. While I have far less time for TV in the summer I record very little, so a new Office would be a welcome and not a burden. TV on DVD is also a great idea but with a Tivo commercials are quite easy to skip and also TV would be HD while DVD would be SD, unless the Office is available on BR.

Very good show. as has been the case for most of their shows this season,
continued excellent writing and good comic timing by the performers.

people voting to continue eating junk food even though they know its bad for
them. classic americana.

They actually wanted ham and mayo, which was a step up.

Very enjoyable episode. Also loved the shots at fat America.

Personally, I liked the Turf 'n Turf dinner Ron was having. Sounded yummy. Also, operating a band saw and router after 6 whiskeys and building a harp made me fall out of my chair laughting. Taking a photo with the newspaper to prove it. Hysterical.

I do not really think the jokes were about America being Fat. I think they were about America demanding freedom to choose above common sense.

Overall the show continues to be one of the best written shows on television.

Yep, the jokes were squarely aimed at people who think its their god given right to be fatasses or dumbasses. I loved some of the questions being asked by the crowd, followed by the chant of ham and mayo.

As someone above pointed out, Ron showing off his ability to perform drunk was hilarious.

after seeing last night i remain of the opinion that this is the best sitcom going this season. several exceptional episodes so far and last night was no exception. heck that politically incorrect mural episode is the funniest thing i've seen on tv in a year. this show is better than 30 rock this season which has been my favorite.

great cast and writing. people haning on with the office or watching community and skipping this are cheating themselves

Something really changed between the writing of last year's show and this year's, and lots of people may not have checked it out this year. Plus, though each show is pretty self-contained, there is a definite sequence to the gags requiring keeping up with past shows.

Ditto better than 30 Rock, though the last couple of their episodes have been an improvement on what has gone on before. Lorne has a long track record of letting things go off the rails on his shows and then whipping things back into shape.

Glad I stuck with this show after a pretty bad first season. This second season has been gold. The writing, and acting has been top notch.

Good episode last night.
The investing subject was funny.

I don't think I've seen Amy Poehler give a funnier performance than last night's. Aziz Ansari was raging out of control pretty adroitly as well.

Loves Tom's (Aziz's) friend who everyone hates.

Aubrey, "Don't you work at Woman's Footlocker?"

Yeah, hope he ends up a recurring character.

He was already in one other episode. Tom brought him in to be "interviewed" for Ron's assistant job and Ron said the exact same thing as Donna did, "I hate that guy!"

another well written, well acted episode.

did you notice in pubs this week that community, office,
30 rock were all renewed for another season.

only then did I see that parks and rec. had already
been given the go for another year ahead of the
other 3.

interesting.

maybe nbc is starting to recover their senses.

Good thought.
3 or 4 of their programs were extra long this week.
2 hours of SVU, 1 hour of Office, and 1 hour of __ and so on.

Good episode last night.
The code violations and the golfing subjects were funny. I think I have a crush on Aubrey Plaza (April Ludgate)
p & r is getting a little inconsistent in their writing. since the holiday brink it seems like every other episode is funny. last night didn't do much for me, but
i loved the one the week before.

I thought this weeks episode was pretty funny! This has been the surprise show of this television season. Big improvement from when it first began.

I just realized that if it wasn't for Ron, I wouldn't watch this show.

Since Day 1, and especially this season, I realized that if it wasn't for Tom (Aziz Ansari's character), I wouldn't watch this show.

Yea well if it wasnt for Tom AND Ron I wouldnt watch the show so there.
They really did change the whole show this season. Most of the characters were so unlikable last year, and now it's turned out to be one of the funniest shows on TV. Good for them.
