Well done, Parks, well done.

Did you also happen to catch Bradley Whitford's first scene was a "walk and talk" West Wing style? Very nice touch.

Also, Did you notice Andy was petting a sock monkey in the background in one scene while April was talking? Ha!

I don't think I can enjoy tonight's should with my current bad mood.
I'm so stressed out.

Another strong episode!

Loved Ron's speech..."You are here because you gave money and now we will give you ribs". LOL!

April and Andy pretending to be yuppies and then Andy acting out all those movies to entertain the guests was hilarious!

Any episode with Perd Hapley and Joan Calamezzo is gold in my book

A good Thursday for all the NBC comedies, The Office maybe a bit less so.

Although Dwayne thinking the silent auction was a game to guess how much each item was worth was pretty hilarious.

I still think The Office generally is pretty funny, but many do not.
good episode last night but not as funny as usual.

amy's directorial debut?

it was consistent, moved the plot along and i loved the ending, but not the funniest episode of the series.

I enjoy Parks and Rec, but I cannot express how deeply I despise the April and Andy characters. To me they are insufferable. I skip over them when I can...
really? i wasn't crazy about Andy's character in the first season when he was a douche, but once they turned him into more of a man-child he became love-able. the metamorphisis is kinda like what they did with Andy Bernard's character in The Office.
as for pairing him with April, i didn't know how it would turn out at first when it happened, but it's turned out amazing IMO. :P

what *I* hate on this show is the Tom/Anne relationship :P

I think Andy is hilarious. The closing scene behind the credits was hilarious.

I wish Roadhouse Patrick Swayze would rip out Tom's throat.

Ron Swanson is the greatest character ever. The fact that he had pole climbing equipment in his car doesn't even surprise me.

I really like April and Andy.

We should all strive to be like Ron.

I love Parks & Rec, but I have always had a hard time with Ann Perkins as a standalone character. It seems like they've been trying to find a place for her from day one and nothing ever works. Now she's ruining one of the show's funniest characters. They need to end the Tom/Ann relationship before its too late. At most, Ann should be a semi-regular character who is nothing more than Knope's best friend.

^ this. There are times where I've forgotten exactly how she came to be an actual employee at the P&R.

In order of hilariousness:

Ron Swanson
Tom Haveford
Andy Dwyer
Jean-Ralphio
April Ludgate
Leslie Knope
Perd Hapley
Tammy Swanson
Donna Meagle
Joan Callamezzo
Dave Sanderson
Jerry Gergich
Chris Trager (used to be much higher on the list)
Poor Sweet Beautiful Anne
Ben Wyatt

Love him too, but my all time favorite so far is Jim Rockford.

Good episode tonight.

The van subject had me laughing.

Andy's investigation was hilarious. I don't think a character can be any more of a putz.

I like his codename for Leslie: "I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought about it."

last night had its moments, but this whole campaign thing is really limiting their creativity. i like it better when you don't know where they're gong with the plot.
I love this show but I am SO SICK of the stupid campaign. Enough already.

Agreed, but at least its better than the "filling the pit" plot line from the first season.
i'm not sure if everyone else already knows how it's going to end, but i'm just guessing, there's really know way that Leslie can win this election, right? i mean that would be a major shake-up in the construction of the show. what happens to all the supporting characters? they can't follow Leslie to her new job. i'm guessing the writers have to find a way for Leslie to ~not~ get the job but still have it not be too much of a downer, lest the fans revolt.

re-watched last night, and found it funnier on second viewing. lots of random, throwaway lines i missed the first time.

still i'll be glad when this campaign is over.

Fun fact: When shooting the season (series?) finale, they shot scenes with Leslie both winning it, and losing. Only a handful of people in production know which one they are going to use.

I have been enjoying this season and think this is the best show on Thursday nights.

any news if this gets renewed?

apparently 30 rock gets one more season.

30 Rock was given 13 episodes to end the series. Word is that Community and Parks and Rec each got 13-14 episodes, but not necessarily to end the series.
