Mounting question

Thread Starter
I have a 32" Dynex LCD TV (Model# DX-LCD32) and I just bought a Sanus - VisionMount Full-Motion Wall Mount (for 23" - 40" TVs, the one that Extends 20"). My issue is that the TV only has 6 mounting screw points in the back and the mounting plate of this wall mount needs the small "universal" center mounting point for the back of the TV, which mine does not have. So I suppose I have 3 options: (1) Only mount is with 2 screws in the center of the TV, (2) mount it off center with 4 screws to one side or the other, or (3) not be able to use a full-motion wall mount (since all I've seen use the universal small center mounting plate). I need to mount this TV in a corner, thus the reason I'm using the full-motion mount. I'm hoping I can get away with just mounting it with 2 screws since it'd only a 28lb 32" TV, but thought I'd ask the opinon of people who would probably know better than I.

Thanks for your input and time.

I say mount it to the wall and try both ways be carefull with the 2 screw mount but if its the top 2 screws it should be ok if it feels solid

basically what your saying though is that the TV does not have the standard 4 in the center mount like every TV in that size range, perhaps return the TV thats is BS

the best place to go is sanus. if you go to their mounts page, the drop down box for dynex, then a dropdown box to you particular model, will get you a very full page of sanus mounts that work with your particular set.

is your's there? call or email sanus and see if they have some solution

If I was you ... I would use at least 4 screws.

You might want to post your exact Sanus mount model number because I'm not sure which one you are referring to. A lot of the smaller Sanus mounts are only VESA 75/100 ... it sounds like yours is different.

One of these might help ...
